Beer

Oh the wonderful world of beer and the joy it brings. Beer has become an increasing fun and adventurous aspect of my life over the past few years. I began like most with Natty Light (or an equivalent) and have grown to love bigger, better, and more flavorful beers since. I've gone from learning to enjoy a variety of styles of beers from various craft breweries around the country to wanting to create my own. It allows me to express myself like cooking in ways that I never knew I could while allowing you to be as creative as you want. There are huge amounts of resources at your fingertips as well either online or most likely in your local community. And the expense to start doing it on your own is fairly cheap in the world of hobbies.

What I like about this hobby is that it has a tangible output that can be shared as gifts or just simple conversation starters with friends or strangers the like. Not to mention the savings you experience when comparing the cost of a typical 6-pack of homebrew to the average cost of a craft brewed 6-pack (usually half the cost for a homebrew beer). So I challenge you all to try it out or at least find a friend who might already be doing it to join in the fun with.
